Remit Collective
A billing desk for independent businesses
For freelancers and small agencies with invoices that have gone quiet

Forward us your worst unpaid invoice. If we collect it, you keep 90%. If we don't, you pay nothing.

Remit Collective is a billing desk for agencies, consultants, and independent service businesses. We follow up, negotiate when needed, and recover what you're owed. Professionally, persistently, and inside rules you set for each client.

No account. No card. No software to install. One email is all it takes.

Why it's still unpaid

Most overdue invoices aren't refusals.

They're disorganization on the client's side, cash-flow triage, or the simple fact that you stopped following up. Three things change when the follow-up comes from Remit Collective.

01

It comes from your billing desk, not from you.

The follow-up goes out under your accounts desk, so you're out of the awkward position of chasing a client yourself. You get the result without the personal cost.

02

The follow-up keeps going.

Reminder one is easy to send. Reminder four is where invoices actually get paid, and it's the one that never gets sent. Ours does. We persist, for as long as it takes.

03

There's a team behind you now.

A slow payer deprioritizes whoever seems least likely to keep coming. An operation with its own billing desk has resources and is paying attention. When it's warranted, we can point to the terms you agreed and what you're owed. That shift alone moves a surprising number of stalled invoices.

“Won't this damage my client relationships?”

You set the rules once. How firm we can get, whether payment plans are an option, the minimum you'd accept. We work inside them, so you don't have to think about it again. For any client you want to watch closely, you can approve each message before it goes out.

To your client, this reads as your billing desk doing its job. Not you sending the reminders, just how your business handles its accounts.

How it works

Five minutes to hand it off. Then you're out of it.

1 Tell us the situation

Forward the invoice and the thread.

What was delivered, what was agreed, and any flexibility you have. Five minutes, and you're done.

2 Set your rules

The minimum, the options, the tone.

The minimum you'd accept, whether payment plans are an option, and how firm we can get. We work inside those rules from then on. Step in to approve messages only when you want to.

3 We go to work

Persistent, professional, adaptive.

We follow up as your billing desk. We answer replies, find out what's really holding up payment (often something the client never told you), offer payment plans where you've allowed them, and adjust our approach if the client keeps putting it off.

4 Get paid

The money lands directly in your account.

The client pays you directly. Once the money reaches your account, our fee is 10% of what we recovered, and we tell you exactly what we did and what worked. Recovered nothing? You owe nothing. No setup fee, no subscription, no minimum.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Are you a collection agency?

We're your billing desk, acting on your written authorization, for commercial (business-to-business) accounts. We don't buy debt, we never hold your money, and we act only within the rules you set.

Will this put my client relationship at risk?

No. We're professional and persistent, never reckless and never threatening. You cap how firm we can get, you tell us anything we should handle with care, and you can require your approval on any client you want to keep close. Nothing goes out that puts your relationship at risk.

What if an invoice needs legal action?

If we assess that an account calls for it, we'll tell you and walk you through your options. Most invoices never get near that point. Persistence and negotiation resolve them first.

What does this cost?

10% of what we recover. Nothing if we don't.
